Our story
A student-led start, a university-ready solution.
Off Campus Partners was started by students, for students and universities. It began in 2000 when a University of Virginia student created offGROUNDS.com to make off-campus housing easier by connecting students and property managers. After early recognition at UVA’s business competitions and Darden’s incubator, Off Campus Partners formed to bring the model to universities.
Today, OCP partners with 150+ colleges and universities across the U.S. and Canada, serving nearly 3.5 million students, parents, faculty, and staff each year. In 2019, OCP joined CoStar Group, combining OCP’s university expertise with Apartments.com marketplace technology and reach to deliver best-in-class software and service for off-campus housing.
